As a longtime Marvel fan who has watched every single movie and read countless comics, I am beyond excited about the upcoming Battleworld saga! The sheer number of characters involved is mind-boggling, but it’s what makes Marvel so special – their rich tapestry of heroes, villains, and everything in between.
After their last joint appearance in Avengers: Endgame, it seems that the superheroes have kept a low profile. So far, no significant collaborations have been observed, and there doesn’t appear to be any global or cosmic threat looming on the horizon, as of yet.
It’s possible we’ve witnessed three different iterations of Marvel superheroes and Spider-Man characters facing overwhelming challenges, yet it remains crucial to unite them all in a single colossal arena. Below is a potential lineup for the upcoming Avengers ensemble.
Black Panther
This elite superhero’s adventure is only starting, fueled by intense anger. As T’Challa’s sister, Shuri possesses the same extraordinary abilities, ensuring her presence in the upcoming Avengers film.
Captain America
In the upcoming movie, Sam Wilson is set to assume control over the shield previously used by Steve Rogers. Whether he’ll officially take on a leadership role with the team remains uncertain, but it’s clear that he will play a significant role as one of the main Avengers.
Red Hulk and She-Hulk
Currently, the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) boasts several Hulks. Among them is Bruce Banner’s green alter-ego and his sister who transforms into She-Hulk. Coming up next is the Red Hulk from Thunderbolt. Additionally, we have been introduced to Skaar in the MCU as well.
In simple terms, the upcoming two Avengers films are likely to gather characters, both heroes, anti-heroes, and villains, from different universes for a massive battle; for those who may not be familiar, “Secret Wars” is essentially a large-scale conflict involving all sorts of combatants.
Spider-Men
Discussing an epic clash among superheroes, it wouldn’t be out of the ordinary to envision not just one but three versions of Spider-Man on the battlefield, possibly joined by Tom Hardy’s portrayal of Venom as well.
Shang Chi
In the latest batch of superheroes, it’s clear that Shang Chi is joining the ranks. This is evident since he’s already crossed paths with some heavyweights in the post-credit scene of the 2021 movie. He has encountered Captain Marvel, Hulk (Bruce Banner), and Wong.
Just as Banner said, “Welcome to the circus.”
Doctor Strange & Wong
Currently, they’ve cast Wong as the Sorcerer Supreme and Strange as the seasoned warrior who has collaborated with and fought alongside the former Avengers. These two characters will soon be appearing on screen.
Eternals
The Eternals, once introduced, remained absent for a considerable period. However, there are hints that they could make an appearance in the upcoming Captain America film titled “Captain America: Brave New World.” As suggested by the trailer, the movie appears to feature a major fight involving Tiamut, the deceased celestial being.
Fantastic Four
Given that Doctor Doom has been revealed as the main antagonist next, can the Fantastic Four possibly choose to stay away? After all, it was them who initially brought him into this picture. With the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe film introducing the iconic family, they are not only gracing our screens but also preparing for battle, a scenario that has been depicted frequently in comic books.
Captain Marvel
In a more straightforward manner, you could say: Given that she’s now one of the two strongest Avengers, as demonstrated in Avengers: Endgame, it seems almost unimaginable for them to exclude her from future scenarios.
The X Men
Many whispers point towards The Void as potentially being the true Battle Realm. It’s a location where characters from various dimensions often mingle. With Deadpool and Wolverine frequently appearing within The Void, it’s quite possible that these two may make an appearance.
Simultaneously, it’s important to note that when we discuss the X-Men, we’re not just referring to the versions portrayed in the Fox films. In fact, Marvel Comics is delicately crafting its mutant characters, defining any individuals with superhuman abilities as mutants. This expansion includes Namor, Ms. Marvel, and several others who are soon set to join the Marvel universe’s grand stage, known as Battleworld.
Star-Lord
Moving on to the space-dwelling protectors, there’s still an intriguing plot twist left. Star Lord is set to reappear, and the new leader of the Guardians of the Galaxy seems destined for command, even though they were previously second in command. It’s possible that Rocket could reunite the team with a dramatic flair, and Adam Warlock may also join them.
The Street Gang
In the near future, we’ll be welcoming Daredevil, accompanied by his comrade The Punisher. Additionally, there have been hints that Krysten Ritter may reprise her role as Jessica Jones. It’s possible they could all find themselves in Battleworld at some point. Rest assured, Doctor Strange and Wong will ensure no one gets left out of the adventure.
Thor and Lady Thor
In similar fashion to Captain Marvel, they are considered the most powerful among all. With Natalie Portman’s character, Jane Foster, now possessing her powers and Chris Hemsworth’s Thor continuing his adventures in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), the studio has plenty of stories to share about them both.
Ant-Man and The Wasp
Despite the fact that the most recent installment of Ant-Man and Wasp no longer plays a role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s future, these superheroes remain significant due to their understanding of the Quantum Realm.
The Young Avengers
It appears that Marvel Studios is placing significant emphasis on a particular group, with the younger members including characters such as Kate Bishop, Kamala Khan (Ms. Marvel), Riri Williams (Ironheart), Billy Maximoff, and possibly others yet to debut in upcoming films.
Sentry
Thunderbolts is introducing the most magnificent one. Sentry, with his immense power, seems indispensable for the Battleworld.
