Who is The Void? Thunderbolts Reveals Lewis Pullman’s Character Details Ahead of Upcoming MCU Film Release

In the latest preview for Marvel’s Thunderbolts, it is confirmed that the mysterious character played by Lewis Pullman, known as “Bob”, is actually the formidable villain – The Void. Fans have long pondered over this possibility, and it seems their suspicions were well-founded, as The Void is proven to be a more daunting adversary than initially believed.

Initially, Marvel kept Pullman’s character under wraps, but the recent teaser and worldwide trailer reveal a more sinister side of him. In the latest movie preview, Bob ominously declares, “I am the Void. Resistance is futile… You haven’t seen what I can do. Perhaps I must demonstrate it to you.

From my perspective as a lifestyle enthusiast, I must say that the character portrayed by Pullman is an extraordinary individual whose talents far surpass those of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, the Avengers. In fact, Julia Louis-Dreyfus’s character labels him as “invincible,” posing a threat unlike any other, one that even the combined powers of all Avengers couldn’t match. To quote Valentina Allegra de Fontaine in the clip, “He’s invincible, he’s all-powerful, stronger than all of the Avengers rolled into one.

The villain’s background is based on the comics where Robert Reynolds, a teenager grappling with his struggles, gains colossal abilities following an experimental dose of the Super Soldier Serum. These divine powers give rise to two opposing forces inside him.

Although Marvel Studios hasn’t officially confirmed that Pullman plays Reynolds, the trailers and merchandise like a Hasbro action figure resembling Pullman seem to make it clear beyond any reasonable doubt.

Last year at the San Diego Comic-Con, I subtly shared some intriguing details about my characters. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, I mentioned, “Everyone has more than one moniker, and ‘Bob’ isn’t his sole identity, just as ‘Lewis’ isn’t mine.

Under Jake Schreier’s direction, the film includes performances by Sebastian Stan portraying Bucky Barnes, Florence Pugh taking on the role of Yelena Belova, David Harbour as the Red Guardian, Olga Kurylenko depicting Taskmaster, and Julia Louis-Dreyfus in the character of Contessa Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, among others.

Previously, Marvel head Kevin Feige talked about the film with this publication, stating, “These characters are hardly heroic. None of them would identify themselves as heroes. If your main leader is Bucky Barnes, that speaks volumes. That’s the essence of it.

Thunderbolts will arrive in theaters on May 2. Tickets are available now.
