Emily Osment, former star of Hannah Montana, has recently initiated divorce proceedings with her spouse Jack Anthony, whom she has been separated from. This move comes mere five months after their wedding ceremony.
According to various sources, the actress who plays Young Sheldon announced her divorce filing on March 7th. Court records indicate that she cited irresolvable disagreements as the reason for the split, as reported by PEOPLE.
According to her divorce papers, Osment stated that their separation occurred on December 7, 2024. Although they don’t share any kids, they do have a prenuptial agreement in place.
Emily Osment shared during a conversation that when it comes to significant life choices, such as relationships or careers, one should wholeheartedly commit to the decision at hand. However, she clarified that this approach didn’t prove successful in her marriage with Jack Anthony, which took place in October 2024, following their engagement in June 2023.
From 2011 to 2015, the actress’s former spouse completed his undergraduate studies, focusing on cognitive science and behavioral economics, at the University of Virginia.

The pair, who are avid travelers, got engaged and later married each other while vacationing in Yosemite National Park, California. During an interview with Gayle King on CBS Mornings, Emily Osment revealed their marriage, which took place on October 2, 2024.
