The movie Snow White, featuring Rachel Zegler and Gal Gadot, is creating quite a stir and garnering lots of praise from viewers. While it’s clear who the actors are for the main characters on screen in this film directed by Marc Webb, it’s also important to know about the actor playing the Prince in the princess fairy tale. The individual we’re referring to is Andrew Burnap, portraying Jonathan, the prince’s love interest, as played by Rachel Zegler.
Andres Burnap, known for portraying the Prince in Snow White, embarked on his acting journey with a successful stint on Broadway. Prior to this, he earned his degree from the esteemed Yale School of Drama and garnered recognition that distinguished him among numerous accomplished performers.
As an ardent admirer, let me share my journey that started with my professional bow in the Public Theater’s off-Broadway 2014 revival of King Lear, graced by Emmy and Tony winner John Lithgow. This was just the beginning; I then had the privilege to join Shakespeare in the Park’s 2016 staging of Troilus and Cressida, embodying the role of Troilus himself. The zenith of my journey so far has been participating in both the West End and Broadway productions of Matthew Lopez’s The Inheritance.
In addition to winning a Tony Award in 2021, Andrew Burnap showcased his acting skills on-screen. In a miniseries titled WeCrashed on Apple TV+, he portrayed the character Phil and shared the screen with Anne Hathaway and Jared Leto. Later, Burnap appeared opposite Andrew Garfield as Joseph Smith in FX’s Under the Banner of Heaven.
As a lifestyle aficionado, I’m thrilled to share that I recently played the role of Father McElvoy in the Apple TV+ series, “Dear Edward.” Working alongside talented actors like Connie Britton and Colin O’Brien was truly an enriching experience.
In movies, he appeared in the horror flick by A24 titled “The Front Room”. In this film directed by Sam Eggers, he co-starred alongside Brandy Norwood who portrayed the character Belinda.
