Hailie Jade Scott, 28

1995 saw the birth of Hailie Jade Scott on December 25th, and she is the child that Eminem has penned numerous songs about. The latest album from Eminem, titled “The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce),” includes a song called “Temporary.” Another popular track on this album is one dedicated to his daughter, known as “Hailie’s Song.

As a devoted fan, I’d like to express that the song “Temporary” was penned with Hailie in mind, offering solace and a sense of security during times when Eminem isn’t around.

Listening to the lyrics gets you all emotional. 

“Indeed, this song is for Hailie Jade. It’s intended to help her navigate life now that I’m no longer here. To begin, I simply want to express… Let’s take care of Alaina, Stevie, and Uncle Nate together.” The rapper sings this in a heartfelt manner.

The subsequent verses read, “And darling, find strength, for I was your pillar / Still standing strong, parting ways isn’t / A simple task, Why the tears? Snap out of it / My dearest Hailie, wipe away those tears, this is not an eternal goodbye.

According to the rapper of Without Me, it was Hailie who served as a significant motivator for him. He states that Hailie’s influence propelled him to strive “10 quadrillion times more vigorously than ever before,” helping him turn his life around.

In an interview with Q magazine, Eminem shared that everything he did back in 2001 was aimed at providing for his daughter, Hailie. He further explained that the funds he was setting aside were earmarked for her college education.

In the latest release of Eminem’s “Temporary” music video, Hailie Jade Scott made a special appearance, presenting the rapper with a blue football jersey as well as a sonogram in one of the footage segments.

The Lose Yourself rapper was given the news of becoming a grandpa in the music video.

Alaina Marie Scott, 31

Alaina Marie Scott is one of Eminem’s adopted children who was born on February 22, 1993 to his sister-in-law Dawn Scott. Eminem officially adopted her in the early 2000s.

If you’re not already aware, it’s tragic to note that Alaina Marie Scott’s mom encountered difficulties with substance abuse, which sadly led to her passing away in 2016, believed to be due to an overdose.

In an interview with Rolling Stone back in 2004, I shared that my niece has been an integral part of my life since her birth. My sister Kim and I essentially raised her; she would always be with us, no matter where our living circumstances took us.

Alaina, or as Eminem refers to her in his songs, Lainey, is also one of his children who are highlighted in some of his famous tracks.

The rapper had name-dropped Alaina in the hit song Mockingbird. 

In these lyrics, Eminem is saying, “Lainey, your uncle is a bit eccentric, right? Yes, but let me tell you something important: he cares for you deeply. The two of you are each other’s only family in this world.

Stevie Laine Scott, 22

Stevie Laine Scott, who was born on April 16, 2002, is the child of Kim and her former partner, Eric Hartter. They were in a relationship during the gap between Kim’s two marriages with the Sing for the Moment rapper.

In the year 2005, Eminem officially took in Steve Laine Scott as his son, following the reunion of Eminem (the artist behind Love the Way You Lie) and Kim. Regrettably, Stevie Scott’s biological father is said to have passed away in 2019.

Later in August of 2021, Stevie Laine Scott came out as nonbinary.
