The White House recently shared a video featuring scenes from popular movies and TV shows. It includes a clip of Christopher Reeve as Superman saying, “Truth, Justice and the American Way.”
The video is a mashup of scenes from all sorts of popular movies and shows – everything from Marvel and DC superhero films to classic movies, anime, and today’s action blockbusters.
I thought it was pretty interesting when the White House followed up on that summer post – you remember, the one with the Superman meme featuring Donald Trump? It was timed with the release of James Gunn’s Superman movie, and now they’ve shared another promo, this time for Batman. It’s a bit of an unusual strategy, but it definitely got people talking!

Christopher Reeve Superman Featured
The video features a clip of Christopher Reeve as Superman, including a scene where he says the hero’s well-known motto: “Truth, Justice, and the American Way.”
Thanks to the 1978 Superman movie with Christopher Reeve and the earlier Adventures of Superman TV show, the phrase became strongly linked with the character, and has remained a popular motto for Superman fans ever since.
This quote differs from the marketing for James Gunn’s Superman film, which used merchandise to highlight the motto “Truth, Justice, and the Human Way.”
The White House previously shared a meme featuring Donald Trump and referencing Superman, after the new Superman movie came out. This meme, like the movie, used the well-known phrase “Truth, Justice, and the American Way.”

Trump wants Hollywood to go big
Reports suggest Trump is interested in revitalizing Hollywood by supporting a potential takeover of Warner Bros. Discovery by Paramount.
Brett Ratner, the director of the Melania documentary, is reportedly involved with Rush Hour 4. Paramount is also planning more installments in the G.I. Joe franchise, and Michael Bay may return to direct new Transformers movies. Plus, there’s talk that the creative universe established by Zack Snyder – often called the SnyderVerse – is being revisited.
