What is the story of this new Alien movie?

The movie centers on a team of astronauts examining the debris of the USCSS Nostromo spaceship. In their examination, they discover a biological entity carrying Xenomorph. A different sequence introduces Rain Carradine, a girl residing in a secluded Jackson’s Star colony. The synthetic human she collaborates with has been reprogrammed and serves as her adoptive brother, Andy.

Rain’s stay at the colony has been prolonged, and she gets an opportunity to leave with her former boyfriend Tyler and his team. The group consists of Tyler’s pregnant sister Kay, his cousin Bjorn, Bjorn’s girlfriend Navarro, and they aim to travel to Planet Yvaga by retrieving cryonic chambers from a deserted spaceship. Since Andy possesses a rare skill to interact with intricate systems, he is crucial for the mission to be successful.

At first, Rain is unsure about letting Andy join the mission, but both Andy and Tyler manage to convince her to include him. Climbing aboard the Corbelan, the team makes their way to the spaceship. Upon reaching their destination, they find that the station has been split into two sections called Romulus and Remus. While gathering stasis chambers, Tyler, Bjorn, and Andy inadvertently wake up dormant facehuggers, causing a nationwide lockdown. Despite Andy’s trustworthiness, Rain doubts his loyalty by putting Weyland-Yutani’s needs above all else by installing a chip from an android named Rook that was damaged earlier.

Navarro clings to a facehugger as they hastily flee, but despite efforts to rescue her, a creature bursts from her chest and claims her life. Trying to elude this threat, the group causes their ship to crash. A looming collision is imminent within less than an hour, posing a significant risk to the station’s orbital stability. During their exploration of the station, Kay, one of the survivors, gets captured by an alien creature. Simultaneously, Andy uncovers a strain of Prometheus that has the potential to enhance human evolution.

In their heroic efforts to save Kay, Tyler sadly meets his end, while Andy is left unable to continue. The intense situation results in Kay getting wounded during their escape, causing her to self-administer the mysterious substance. Following their victory against the Xenomorphs, Rain shuts down the station’s gravitational force and flees with Andy. Kay, now altered by the substance, gives birth to a hybrid offspring between a human and Xenomorph, which Rain expels into space. Before departing herself, Rain puts Andy in hibernation mode and records a concluding account of their adventure.
