You can find him north of the Verdant Wilds, between the General’s Shrine Teleporter and the Wayfarer Camp (where you get your first map). Talking to him will start the “Melodies of Peace” quest, which also serves as a tutorial for the Melodies of Peace system.

Players can exchange Oddities (collectibles) for rewards that improve their character. These rewards include stat increases (like health, accuracy, critical hit chance, and base damage), new martial arts techniques, special passive abilities, and items needed to unlock parts of the game world – for example, the Bronze Bell Fragment, which is used to weaken powerful bosses.

One of the most effective ways to become stronger in Where Winds Meet is by unlocking upgrades for your character. These upgrades improve your stats and Martial Arts Level (Gearscore), letting you take on more difficult challenges. This is particularly helpful for new players, as the stat boosts will make it easier to defeat the tough bosses in the main story.

Once you finish a Melodies of Peace node, it’s unlocked forever – you can’t turn it off. To unlock all Harmony nodes, you need to collect every item hidden in the Qinghe Region.

What Are Oddities And How To Find Them

Players can find unique collectibles called Oddities while exploring the Qhinghe region. Each Oddity has a specific way to be collected. For instance, the Dagger General (represented by grasshoppers) are hidden and require players to break rocks or boxes to find them. The Enchanting Lotus is protected by clouds of Miasma, and players must destroy the surrounding Purple Butterflies to collect it.
