Everstone just launched the first update of the year for Where Winds Meet, bringing in the data needed for a big content release tomorrow, January 8th.
Console players will receive a large update, version 1.012 (full version 1.012.000), known as the 1.2 patch for Where Winds Meet.
Here’s a look at the new content included in this update, along with a preview of what else we have planned for the month.
Where Winds Meet New Update for Patch 1.2/1.012 Adds January 2026 Content
The new content expected to be available starting tomorrow include:
- New Region: Nine Mortal Ways Base
- New Story: Kaifeng Campaign & Legacy Quests
- New Content: Jianghu Martial Games, Guild Battle Preseason, Hero’s Realm, World Boss.
Expect the patch to also house gameplay-related fixes and other improvements as well.
Aside from the content drop this week, Everstone has outlined the rest of the month’s plans.

- HERO’S REALM: SORROW OF MORTALBOUND

WEEK 4 (Jan. 25)
- STORY: WHISPERS BENEATH THE MOON
- EVENT: YEAR OF ABUNDANCE
- EVENT: SEASON-END DASH
