In Where Winds Meet, you’ll collect a lot of different currencies. Each one is used for specific things, like getting items from shops, trading with merchants in different areas, and buying cosmetic upgrades. Plus, there’s a limit to how much of each currency you can earn every week, and they can only be spent in certain places.
This guide covers all the different currencies in Where Winds Meet and explains the best ways to get them.
Battle Pass Coins
This special currency is earned by completing activities in the Battle Pass. While you can earn an unlimited number of these coins, they can only be used to progress a maximum of 8,850 XP in the Battle Pass each week.
The Battle Pass itself has a variety of items and cosmetics.
Commerce Coins
This common currency is easily obtained through quests, mini-games, and horse trading. You can collect as much of it as you like, as there’s no limit.
Spend it in mini-games and with some merchants as well.
Echo Jade
You can earn Echo Jade by completing quests, but you might also find it while exploring the world, opening chests, or after defeating enemies. There’s no limit to how much Echo Jade you can collect.
I’m really excited to unlock Inner Ways – basically, special abilities – with these characters. Plus, you get cool cosmetic stuff and useful items like Tuning Stones to help power them up!
Fourfold Coins
Fourfold Coins are a special currency used only in the Bounty Shop, and you can only get them by finishing bounties.
A variety of cosmetics make up the purchasing pool, and the weekly cap is 1,500.
Four Seas Letters
This special currency is only gained and used when playing with others, like when completing bounties as a team. You can earn up to 1,000 of it each week, and it’s used to purchase items in a dedicated shop.
Harmonic Core
Harmonic Cores are a common reward from Premium Banners, especially at the Legendary tier. Players can collect an unlimited number of them.
Swap them for five Jades, or vice versa.
You can also trade them for top-tier characters and items available in the Premium Banner’s shop, found in the Draw menu.
Harmony Coins
This currency can be earned through special tasks and spent in a dedicated shop. It’s designed for players who enjoy teaming up with others, though weekly earnings are limited to 2,000.
Hundred Trades Treasure Coins
You can earn special coins by completing career tasks, and these coins can be used to buy cosmetics in a dedicated shop. You can earn up to 2,500 coins each week.
Jade Fish
Jade Fish, a currency limited to 20,000 per week, are most easily earned by completing Engagements that show the potential rewards upfront. However, you’ll also gain them just by playing the game and participating in most activities.
Then spend the Jade Fish on various materials and gear in the Shop tab next to it.
Jianghu Reputation
Daily activities come with their own special currency rewards, and are capped at 1,200 per week.
Spend them on cosmetics in the Shop.
Pearls
Pearls can’t be earned by playing the game; they have to be bought with real money. And there doesn’t seem to be a limit to how many you can purchase.
Pearls are best used for getting new characters, but you can also buy a variety of other things with them.
Song Tong Bao
This local currency has a weekly limit, and it’s the preferred payment method for most shopkeepers in the game.
Treasure Money
You’ll unlock this special currency as you progress further in the game. It’s another way to buy exclusive cosmetic items, working similarly to Pearls. There’s no limit to how much you can collect, and you can earn it easily just by completing quests and crafting items.
Zhou Tong Bao
This local money has a limit on how much you can use each week. It’s the preferred payment method for most shopkeepers in the game.
Those are all of the currencies to be earned and spent in Where Winds Meet.
