It appears that Meghan Markle carefully considers her ventures, even their filming locations. In a recent conversation with People magazine, she revealed some intriguing insights into the production of her newest Netflix series, “With Love, Meghan,” and its filming location may surprise you.
Although the setting of the show might seem like it was shot at her Montecito residence, this isn’t accurate. In reality, the production for the Netflix series was carried out at a local rental property that closely mirrors her personal home, as reported by People magazine.
In her interview with the publication, Meghan Markle shared the reason behind selecting that specific filming location rather than her own home. She expressed, “I wanted to preserve our sanctuary,” further explaining, “We’re a tight-knit family, and I cherish those intimate moments—tucking Lili in for a nap, sharing meals together, and spending precious evening hours together.
She additionally pointed out that the kitchen is where the family’s meals are prepared by “mama”, and given they had over 80 staff members, it would have been excessively crowded for their home.
As for where the movie will be filmed, it’s been reported that the location is a rental property owned by Tom and Sherrie Cipolla, known for their charitable work in our community. This property boasts four bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms, as per the details on the website.
In 2017, the Cipollas bought their house for approximately $4.7 million, and it’s currently valued at around $8 million.
It was additionally mentioned by Forbes that, in the year 2022, during the release of their documentary titled Harry & Meghan, neither Prince Harry nor Meghan chose to film their interviews at their personal residence. Rather, they selected a luxurious property worth approximately USD 30 million nearby as an alternative filming location.
