As a dedicated Monster Hunter Wilds fan, partaking in a satisfying pre-game feast is a cherished ritual. These meals not only replenish my health, stamina, and selected attributes, but when I season them with special ingredients like Kunafa Cheese, the boost I get before venturing out becomes even more substantial.
In the game MH Wilds, Kunafa Cheese is among the assortment of items used in cooking, but acquiring it in large quantities may prove challenging. If you want to accumulate this ingredient, here’s a guide detailing where to find some and offering tips on how to farm it with minimal effort.
How to Get Kunafa Cheese in MH Wilds
In the game MH Wilds, a handful of quests provide players with Kunafa Cheese as rewards, however, since these quests can’t be done repeatedly, an excellent method to acquire this ingredient is by trading with Kilama in Kunafa. She has a distinct NPC marker on the map screen, but if you prefer not to interact with her directly, you can always converse with Nata near your base camp tent instead.
As a devoted fan, I’ve noticed that Kilama’s inventory of Kunafa Cheese updates frequently. Sometimes, she might run out and won’t have any on hand. In such cases, you can simply take a break in your tent, which triggers all trader inventories to refresh, giving us another chance to secure the delectable Kunafa Cheese!
Kilama frequently requests either standard Windward Aloe or premium Windward Aloe as payment for Kunafa Cheese. These goods can be sourced from the Windward Plains. Keep in mind that the abundance of Windward Aloe increases during the Season of Plenty.
At times, Kilama might provide the special Sharp Kunafa Cheese that boosts the powerful Defender Meal (Hi) skill. In exchange, she could swap these for either Thundering Fulgurite or Great Windward Aloe.
The Defender Meal ability functions similarly to Divine Blessing, offering players the opportunity for diminished harm whenever they’re struck.
Best Kunafa Cheese Farm

If you’re not into trading, you might want to consider taking up Event Quests farming instead. Keep in mind though, that it may not always be dependable since Event Quests are typically restricted by time.
In this instance, completing the “Stalking Supper” quest will provide players with two types of Kunafa Cheese: standard Kunafa Cheese and its sharper version. To accomplish this task, simply track down a Quematrice in the Windward Plains.
Currently, Stalking Supper isn’t found in the Event Quests section. But, as mentioned during Capcom’s Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak Title Update 1 Showcase, many Event Quests are scheduled to reappear when significant seasonal events occur.
