In Monster Hunter Rise, Gracium might initially appear as common ore, but once you progress further into the post-game content, it becomes clear that it’s far more significant than typical fucium or earthcrystal. It plays a crucial role in crafting some of Wilds’ top-tier equipment and various ice element weapons.
The guide for Monster Hunter Wilds Gracium shows you exactly where to locate this precious mineral and provides tips on maximizing your yield when you mine it.
Monster Hunter Wilds: Gracium location
Gracium is exclusively found within the mining outcrops at Iceshard Cliffs, and this resource becomes available only in advanced environments within the region. You gain access to these advanced environments following the beginning of chapter four, unlike the Ruins of Wyveria which require progression beyond this point. A notable difference is that you can explore high-rank Iceshard Cliffs directly after chapter four commences.
At Iceshard Cliffs, mining outcrops aren’t abundant, but don’t worry if you’re having trouble locating them. Your map can assist by highlighting their positions. To do this, simply open the map, choose the icon filter option, and keep scrolling until you reach “mining outcrop.” You have two options: either set it as a waypoint and watch it get marked on your map, or let your Seikret transport you directly there.
Monster Hunter Wilds: Gracium farming tips
Gracium isn’t as scarce as something exotic like the Dragonbone Relic, but it’s not found frequently either. You may need to mine several mineral formations before you find one. If you exhaust all the outcrops in the Iceshard Cliffs and need more, you can embark on a quest or teleport away and come back to refresh the outcrops. Otherwise, they take about 15 minutes in real time to replenish.
To effectively mine or gather bones from Gracium, ensure you have an item equipped that possesses the Geologist skill. This skill doubles the number of items you obtain during mining or bone gathering. Each piece of the chainmail armor set includes Geologist I, but to maximize the skill’s potential, it is recommended to craft a high-level Geologist charm instead.
