Al Pacino, Robert De Niro, Dustin Hoffman, Daniel Day-Lewis if he decides to return to acting, and Robert Duval, Gene Hackman.

Additionally, he disclosed the names of his colleagues he collaborated with, such as Philip Seymour Hoffman, Robert Redford, Vincent D’Onofrio, Linda Emond, and Sally Field. The actor from “The Social Network” considers these individuals to be the “keepers of that profound exploration in acting.

Apart from naming artists who were contemporaries or younger, Garfield mentioned that he had seen Colman Domingo in Sing Sing, a movie he deemed as one of his top favorites up until then.
