When Robert Downey Jr Wished To Lend His Voice For Mark Zuckerberg’s Jarvis-Inspired AI

As a dedicated follower who has witnessed the evolution of Robert Downey Jr.’s career from Iron Man to Dr. Doom, I can’t help but marvel at his versatility and adaptability. It’s fascinating to imagine him as Jarvis instead of Tony Stark’s AI companion, a role he nearly played when Mark Zuckerberg sought to create his own personal assistant in 2016.

Instead of Robert Downey Jr. playing Iron Man in the MCU, we’ve all come to adore him, imagine if it had been the other way around and Jarvis, Tony Stark’s AI companion, had taken on the role instead. Interestingly, this almost happened when Tom Hanks expressed his desire to provide the voice for Mark Zuckerberg’s AI.

In 2016, the man who owns Facebook expressed ideas about creating an artificial intelligence system designed to assist him with his routine duties.

Mark Zuckerberg expressed that for the year 2016, one of his main objectives was to create an artificial intelligence reminiscent of those depicted in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He made this intention public by posting on Facebook: “For 2016, my personal goal is to develop a straightforward AI to manage my household and assist me with work tasks.”

As a dedicated follower, I can share that Mark Zuckerberg expressed his intentions to delve into current technologies and instruct AI in recognizing his unique voice. This skill would empower him to manage various aspects of his home environment, including music, lighting, and even the temperature, all from a distance.

After a few months, the well-known figure resurfaced on his social media, shocking his fans once more as he declared readiness to express his own digital assistant, requesting online community members for a suitable name suggestion.

Soon, a Facebook user commented suggesting a few names, from Downey Jr. to The Imitation Game fame and another MCU star, Benedict Cumberbatch.

In response to the excitement generated, the star of Due Date joined the discussion and showed his willingness to lend his voice. “I would jump at the chance if Bettany is compensated and donates it to a charity of Cumberbatch’s preference…that’s the right kind of peculiar,” Robert Downey Jr.’s comment stated.

From 2008 through 2019, Robert Downey Jr. took on the role of Iron Man and played a pivotal part in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), culminating in his appearance in the epic film Avengers: Endgame, one of the most iconic movies ever made.

Following his departure from playing the superhero character, this renowned actor is now back with the series, taking on the sinister role of Doctor Doom – a notorious comic book villain widely regarded as one of the greatest.

The well-known actor is set to collaborate once more with directors, the Russo Brothers, on the eagerly awaited films, Avengers: Endgame and Avengers: The War of Secrets.
