When Owen Wilson Revealed He Got ‘Scolded’ By Marvel Studios During Loki Shooting For THIS Reason

As an ardent Marvel fan, I find myself constantly enthralled by the enigmatic allure of the MCU and its eclectic cast of characters. The addition of Owen Wilson as Mobius M. Mobius in Loki was nothing short of a revelation, adding another layer to the intricate tapestry that is the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Over the past few years, Marvel Studios has attracted a number of prominent actors from the world of film, including Christian Bale, Cate Blanchett, and most recently, Owen Wilson, who made his appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) during Loki’s first season. Yet, as the series progressed into Season 2, Owen Wilson became more cautious about revealing plot details.

As a diehard enthusiast, I can’t help but gush over Owen Wilson’s portrayal of Mobius M. Mobius in Loki. However, during an exclusive interview with ComicBook.com last year, the charismatic star from Night at the Museum remained tight-lipped about the forthcoming season of Loki, leaving us eager fans on the edge of our seats in anticipation for more!

Initially, the actor from Marley & Me mentioned he was working on the second installment of a Disney+ series. His comments were brief but included “Yes, we are doing it. Yes, Tom [Hiddleston] is excellent. We’re filming ‘Loki,’ and we’re currently shooting that in London.

When someone inquired for additional details from Wilson, he underlined that viewers would witness what transpired next once season 2 aired. Yet, the Shanghai Noon starlet expressed feelings of unease when discussing the series Loki, since Marvel Studios tends to be rather strict.

In the subsequent part of the interview, Owen Wilson admitted that Marvel had reprimanded him on more than one occasion when asked if there had ever been a time this happened.

Well, he was indeed referring to the text he had received from an anonymous Marvel employee.

In the year 2021, Owen Wilson shared with Esquire magazine that following his revelation about his mustache being for the Loki character Mobius, “I received a foreboding text saying ‘Strike 1’. I’m not sure who sent it, we suspect it could have been Kevin Feige using a disposable phone, but that wasn’t confirmed,” he further explained.

It’s surprising that Owen Wilson isn’t the only well-known actor who has shared details about their roles or series unintentionally. In fact, Mark Ruffalo once inadvertently livestreamed a specific scene from Thor: Ragnarok on Instagram.

It appears that, during the premiere of the mentioned movie in Hollywood, the actor accidentally left his camera recording. Additionally, this same actor, from the film Begin Again, unintentionally revealed the ending of Avengers: Infinity War on Good Morning America, hinting that all characters meet their demise.

Apart from Mark Ruffalo, it’s also Tom Holland who has gained fame for inadvertently revealing key plot points of Marvel films. In the series Loki, Owen Wilson joined stars like Tom Hiddleston, Sophia Di Martino, and others in Seasons 1 and 2.
