She suggests exploring a romantic connection between Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy, who is openly queer. For quite some time, she has been advocating for this representation of a gay romance within the DC Extended Universe (DCEU). During her press tour for Babylon, she shared, “I’ve been pushing for that for years. Believe me, I really want it.”
The person was questioned about who they thought would be suitable to play Poison Ivy in the movie, and their response was intriguing. They admitted that when visualizing the character for film adaptation, they prefer imagining her as depicted in the comic books instead of picturing a particular actress. Initially, Robbie played the role of Harley Quinn in Suicide Squad, and subsequently in Birds of Prey and The Suicide Squad.
