When Jesse Tyler Ferguson Spilled How ‘Working With Kids’ Fulfilled His Fatherly Desires

As a devoted fan, I can’t help but admire Jesse Tyler Ferguson‘s journey from dreaming of fatherhood to becoming a loving husband and a cherished part of the Modern Family. His experiences with the young cast members on set have been nothing short of heartwarming and inspiring.

Working closely with these talented, sweet, and growing kids must have been a rollercoaster ride for him. It’s fascinating to see how his ‘baby fever’ grew from being around them, just like yeast in a warm dough mixture (a metaphor that might be a bit too far-fetched, but hey, I’m trying to be creative here!).

I must say, it’s not every day you find an actor who can make being around kids on set seem like the best part of their job. And let’s face it, that’s quite a feat considering how exhausting and chaotic it can sometimes be!

Jesse, if you ever need help with those adorable little ones during rehearsals, I’m just a message away. I mean, who wouldn’t want to spend their day surrounded by sweet-faced kids, right? After all, I’ve always dreamed of being a professional baby whisperer!

Jesse Tyler Ferguson, known for his role in Modern Family, currently enjoys a loving family life with his husband Justin Mikita; however, at one point, he could only imagine such happiness. In the past, the actor himself admitted that being surrounded by children on set had, in some sense, been a substitute for his dream of fatherhood.

In a 2015 interview with PEOPLE, Jesse Tyler Ferguson mentioned that they might consider growing their family with his spouse, Mikita, within the following two years.

During our Spring-intervention PSA filming, the actor underlined a shared desire between him and Mikita – they’ve both longed for children throughout their lives.

Furthermore, as per Ferguson, the young co-stars from the ABC sitcom – Sarah Hyland, Ariel Winter, Rico Rodriguez, Nolan Gould, and Aubrey Anderson-Emmons – intensified his desire for a baby even further.

As a die-hard admirer of mine (Jesse Tyler Ferguson), I’d like to share my perspective: Working alongside these little talents on set for the past six years has been a remarkable journey. Witnessing them mature and grow during their precious formative years has truly opened my eyes to the wonders of life’s progression.

He further added that being around the young ones on set “has fed my desire to be a dad.”

The piece states that Ferguson was additionally associated with Turnaround Arts, an entity which offers resources to both primary and middle schools at the time.

During his conversation, the actor who played the Cocaine Bear shared that the children in the program were exceptionally kind, reminiscing about a recent practice session for Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, which had taken place not long ago.

As a lifestyle connoisseur looking back, I can’t help but reflect on my role as Mitchell Pritchett in the beloved series, Modern Family. In this sitcom, I shared the screen with the talented Eric Stonestreet, portraying our unforgettable characters, Cameron Tucker and his loving husband, Mitchell. Together, we embarked on a remarkable journey that included adopting the charming Aubrey Anderson-Emms’ character, Lily Tucker-Pritchett, who became an integral part of our family narrative.

In the show, Sarah Hyland was Haley Dunphy, Ariel Winter played her sister Alex, Nolan Gould portrayed Luke, the youngest Dunphy family member, and Rico Rodriguez acted as Manny Delgado.
