Action star Jack Reacher, portrayed by Alan Ritchson, is making a comeback on our screens for Season 3 of the show. As per the official summary, the series chronicles the adventures of roaming ex-military cop Jack Reacher who unravels mysteries and dishes out his unique brand of vigilante justice.
Starting February 20th, the new season of the Lee Child novel-based show will make its debut exclusively on Amazon Prime. The initial three episodes will air all at once, with subsequent episodes following each Thursday until we reach the finale on March 27th.
It’s said that the third season is influenced by the author’s seventh book, “Persuader,” and may delve into Reacher’s confrontations with a mysterious criminal entity. A recently unveiled preview opens with Reacher physically defending a woman who was inappropriately addressed in a lewd manner.
Later on, he assumes the role of a covert informant to locate the police’s most notorious criminal. He needs to penetrate a perilous group in order to save an agent from the DEA who has been taken captive. Yet, his pursuit of justice becomes entangled with his personal affairs as he discovers that his adversary is an old enemy from his past.
Apart from Ritchson, Maria Sten reappears as Frances Neagley, a trusted partner of Reacher. Anthony Michael Hall, Sonya Cassidy, Brian Tee, and Olivier Richters complete the ensemble cast.
