The series mentioned earlier is set to premiere on Netflix in October 2025. Notably, Sho Tsukikawa will be directing this show, and it will feature scripts written by Kim Ji Hyun, a well-respected screenwriter.

It’s worth noting that the screenplay for the show was based on the French film “Les Émotifs anonymes” by Kim Ji Hyun. For this production, Lim Seung Young serves as the showrunner, while Kim Yong Eun, Choi Gi Young, Kim-Keum Sil, Takuro Nagai, and Mao Osaki are involved as producers. Additionally, Riki Project is one of the companies responsible for bringing this project to life.

The storyline centers on Sosuke and Hana, two characters who share a passion for chocolate, leading to their initial encounter. Simultaneously, the narrative delves into their social awkwardness, which gradually shapes their bond as Sosuke struggles with physical touch and Hana finds it difficult to maintain eye contact. Their unique relationship hurdles are these two aspects.

Actor Shun Oguri is set to portray Sosuke Fujiwara, a germophobic individual and the son of a prominent candy tycoon. Recognizable to fans of the Godzilla series, Oguri previously appeared as Ren Serizawa in Godzilla vs. Kong.

Han Hyo-Joo will portray the character of Hana Lee. You may have spotted her in some other Netflix productions like Believer Season 2 and 20th Century Girl.
