When Donald Trump Said He Liked Taylor Swift’s Music 25% Less After She Endorsed Phil Bredesen

As a dedicated fan of Taylor Swift, I can’t help but feel a sense of deja vu when it comes to her interactions with certain political figures. The latest drama between Taylor and Donald Trump is just another chapter in a saga that seems destined to repeat itself. It’s like watching a soap opera where the same characters keep popping up, each time with more dramatic twists and turns.

As a lifestyle connoisseur, I must say that Donald Trump’s latest remarks about Taylor Swift following her endorsement of Kamala Harris might have left some fans questioning his actions. However, it’s essential to remember that this isn’t the first time he has made comments perceived as less than supportive towards the singer. Way back in 2018, when she voiced her support for Democrat Phil Bredesen on social media, an action that garnered his approval, he expressed his love for her music by liking it a mere 25% less.

According to CNN, when the artist Taylor Swift expressed her backing for former governor Phil Bredesen instead of Republican Marsha Blackburn in the Tennessee Senate race, Trump was questioned about his thoughts on Swift’s endorsement.

As he made his way to the reporters on the White House’s South Lawn, Trump inquired about what had been said by someone else. Upon being told about it, Trump commented, “I’m confident that Taylor Swift has no information or involvement with Blackburn,” and then joked, “Now, I enjoy Taylor Swift’s music 25% less, right?” This implies that his opinion of her music has slightly decreased due to her political affiliations.

If you didn’t know, the previous president recently made some less-than-complimentary remarks towards the popular artist after she publicly endorsed Kamala Harris and Tim Walz from the Democratic Party on Instagram. During a conversation with Fox and Friends on September 11, he discussed her support for Harris and Walz.

He expressed not being a fan of the Look What You Made Me Do Singer and shared, “It was just a question of time. But she’s a very liberal person. She seems to always endorse a Democrat. And she’ll probably pay a price for it in the marketplace.”

After images of Swift were reportedly manipulated using AI on the Truth Social platform of a former president, they appeared to show her endorsing Trump. However, she made it clear that this was not true. She explained how Artificial Intelligence was used to modify her photos and expressed concerns and fears about such manipulation in a post on Instagram.

Yet, Trump found himself in the spotlight lately due to accusations from Beyoncé. She reportedly sent a legal notice, or cease and desist letter, following the use of her song “Freedom” from her album Lemonade in one of Trump’s campaign videos, according to Billboard.

After this action by the performer, the video was removed. Meanwhile, Celine Dion’s My Heart Will Go On was played during his Montana rally. Later, the singer’s team had to clarify on X that the song was used without consent and it did not signify her endorsement of his campaign.
