In the United States and Canada, the follow-up to the 2019 documentary Leaving Neverland, titled Surviving Michael Jackson, is set to debut on YouTube.
In simple terms, Little Dot Studios – a digital content firm belonging to All3Media – declared they have obtained exclusive ownership of the documentary within the United States and regions where English is predominantly spoken (Canada included) according to Deadline’s report.
The movie can be watched on Real Stories, a high-quality documentary channel run by Little Dot, on YouTube. The next installment will initially premiere in the United Kingdom on Channel 4 on March 18th; soon after, it’ll also be available on YouTube.
In simpler terms, the 60-minute documentary revisits Wade Robson and James Safechuck, who allege that Michael Jackson abused them when they were children. The movie delves into their ongoing legal dispute with Michael Jackson’s companies, MJJ Productions and MJJ Ventures.
From my perspective as a lifestyle expert, the documentary “Surviving Michael Jackson” offers a profoundly personal account of how the allegations against him affected Robson and Safechuck, as well as the challenges they’ve faced in the face of Michael Jackson’s dedicated fanbase. It presents exclusive courtroom footage and delves into the extensive measures taken to keep the case out of court.
As a lifestyle advisor, I’d like to clarify that throughout his life and even today, through his estate, Jackson firmly refuted all accusations that were brought against him. In the year 2005, during a highly publicized court case, he was declared not guilty of child molestation charges.
Dan Reed, the director of the documentary, discussed his approach to ensuring the movie could be easily viewed by many. “Releasing the film on YouTube,” Reed stated, “is a way to remove obstacles and make it accessible for all.
Conventional channels may not reach a wide audience, but YouTube provides a chance for this tale to be viewed at the viewer’s convenience since it’s accessible without charge.
Paul Woolf, who leads unscripted development at Little Dot Studios, also discussed the upcoming digital release of the documentary. “Leaving Neverland 2 is a potent and substantial film that merits viewing by both traditional documentary enthusiasts and the expanding audience on Real Stories,” he stated.
This documentary was created by Reed’s firm, Amos Pictures, with Marguerite Gaudin named as one of its producers. Peter Haddon and Ben Hills are credited as editors, while Adam Vandermark acted as the commissioner for Channel 4. The company Sphere Abacus is responsible for its distribution worldwide.
