Who’s returning for season 6?

In the upcoming Season 6, the entire principal ensemble will be back: Kayvan Novak portrays Nandor, Matt Berry takes on the role of Laszlo, Harvey Guillén plays Guillermo, Natasia Demetriou is Nadja, Mark Proksch is cast as Colin, and Kristen Schaal joins us once more as The Guide.

Furthermore, some well-known guest stars are expected to make appearances. In the past, we’ve seen the addition of stars like Nick Kroll, Dave Bautista, Tilda Swinton, Sofia Coppola, and even Mark Hamill.

What will the plot be?

In the sixth season of What We Do in the Shadows, we follow the humorous exploits of Nandor, Laszlo, Nadja, Colin Robinson, and their vampire housemates on Staten Island, along with their loyal human companion Guillermo. Guillermo is now faced with a dilemma as he reflects on his lengthy service to a vampire and contemplates his own goals. His deep bond with Nandor and his aspiration to join their undead ranks are key themes, yet he must grapple with self-discovery and the reason for his existence.

Vampire lives have hit a roadblock. Waking up their long-lost housemate after fifty years, they’re struck by the realization that they’ve made little progress beyond their current circle. Sparked by this revelation, they embark on a journey to find purpose and reconsider their objectives.

In Season 6, the vampires will explore beyond Staten Island and embark on fresh journeys in New Hampshire. They will welcome The Baron, confront a demon they must raise, join the workforce for the first time, and participate in a human social gathering. Fans are in store for a blend of humor, otherworldly excitement, and character development as the cast tackles these novel situations.
