As a lifelong fan of The Jackson 5 and a follower who has cherished their music since my childhood, the passing of Tito Jackson leaves me with a heavy heart. He was not just a musician but an icon who brought joy to countless lives through his incredible talent and infectious energy.
Tito Jackson, a globally recognized musician known for being part of The Jackson 5 and Michael Jackson’s brother, tragically passed away at the age of 70 in the latest heartbreaking news. Known for hits like “I Want You Back,” Tito Jackson will be remembered as an influential artist.
According to Entertainment Tonight’s report, the renowned global musician passed away on September 15, 2024, as a result of a heart attack.
More recently, Tito has been taking the stage alongside his brothers Jackie and Marlon, collectively recognized as The Jacksons. Over the summer of 2024, they left their fans spellbound with their captivating shows in Scotland, California, and England.
Previously, Tito Jackson performed live on September 8, 2024, at a venue in Surrey, England. Simultaneously, the Jackson family had concerts planned for October 25, 2024, in Atlantic City, New Jersey, and November 1, 2024, in Cincinnati, Ohio.
This week itself, Tito Jackson along with their other brothers paid a visit to the touching tribute for our dearly missed brother, Michael Jackson, as he shared on Facebook from Munich, Germany.
Tito Jackson added that he and his siblings feel thankful for the significant spot, which not only serves as a tribute to their late and famed brother, the “They Don’t Care About Us” artist, but also safeguards the memory and the collective legacy they all share.
“Thank you for keeping his spirit alive,” Tito wrote in his caption.
Originally part of The Jackson 5, Tito later embarked upon a successful solo journey, releasing two astonishing albums: “Tito Time” in 2016 and “Under Your Spell” in 2021.
As a connoisseur of music and lifestyle, I’d like to shed light on an iconic band that left an indelible mark on the world of entertainment – The Jackson 5. This dynamic group consisted of me (Michael), my brothers Jackie, Jermaine, and Marlon. In 1997, our collective talent was recognized by being inducted into the prestigious Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. To add to our accolades, we were further honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. It’s a testament to our enduring legacy in the realm of music and popular culture.
Tito Jackson gained fame for playing with BB King’s Blues Band. From 2017 to 2019, they embarked on tours together. According to the late artist, Tito (who spoke to Blues Blast magazine in 2021), his fascination with the guitar originated from the blues genre itself.
Tito Jackson’s last single was released in 2021, called Love One Another.
