What Happened To Hozier? Health Condition Explored As Singer Postpones Tour Dates

As a lifestyle expert with years of experience under my belt, I admire Hozier‘s decision to prioritize his health over his tour commitments. It takes great courage and maturity to acknowledge when one needs rest, especially in the high-pressure world of live performances.

34-year-old Hozier is focusing on his wellbeing right now. He’s shared through social media that he’ll be taking a brief pause in the middle of his Unreal Unearth tour, so he can fully recuperate from a recent illness.

On Monday, August 26th, the artist announced via his social media platform that he had to make a tough choice for his health, as he was dealing with a virus. The concerts scheduled at the First Interstate Arena in Billings, Montana, on the 27th and in Casper, Wyoming, on the 28th would need to be rescheduled for a future date, as he shared with his followers.

Before this decision, he took the stage on August 24, Saturday at Rogers Place situated in Edmonton, Canada, per the publication.

In the post mentioned earlier, the singer publicly acknowledged and thanked everyone who attended the performances during their tour. He was particularly grateful to those who had provided exceptional kindness and support during the past few shows as he worked through vocal recovery after battling a recent virus.

Hozier expressed pleasure at interacting with his fans while performing, but he needs to let his voice rest and heal properly. He was sad to reschedule the upcoming concerts because he wanted to ensure his vocal cords have enough time to recuperate so he can continue performing during the remainder of the tour.

He informed his followers that the details about the fresh dates for the upcoming pair of concerts will be shared shortly, and he requested them to hang on to their tickets because they will be valid for the new dates when they are made public.

The performer also shared that those unable to attend will receive a refund, starting from when they initially bought their tickets. He expressed his heartfelt apologies for any trouble caused and thanked everyone for their “understanding and support.”

As reported, the upcoming concert by the singer is set for August 30 (Friday) at Fiddler’s Green Amphitheater in Greenwood Village, Colorado. Following this performance, he will proceed to shows in Australia, beginning his tour in Australia on November 5 at RAC Arena in Perth.
