Unlike many people who value fame highly, particularly family members of well-known individuals, Amy Schumer’s husband, Chris Fischer, aged 45, and their five-year-old son seem unconcerned with her celebrity status.
On the podcast Call Her Daddy, hosted by Alex Cooper, she discussed a range of topics alongside the host. In this discussion, Amy Schumer opened up about the thoughts of her family members, particularly her husband and son, regarding her fame.
The Life & Beath star shared with the host, “It’s essentially the same for my son or my husband,” also expressing, “It’s akin to, ‘you’re mom.'” During their conversation, she disclosed that her son has only viewed the third Trolls movie, as well as moments from Trainwreck and an upcoming project called Kinda Pregnant, while she was in the editing process.
Schumer mentioned that her son found those stunts amusing. Furthermore, she said her husband occasionally tries to understand it the same way. However, Schumer swiftly noted, “He doesn’t care.” She disclosed that Fisher’s upbringing might have influenced his lack of enthusiasm for her global fame.
The comedienne and actress shared with the podcast host that her spouse, during his childhood years, had well-known “close acquaintances” (or simply “friends”) who were quite famous since they resided on Martha’s Vineyard.

In 2019, the duo added a new member to their family, welcoming their baby son.
