What Did The View’s Sunny Hostin Say About Kamala Harris? Find Out As Whoopi Goldberg Corrects On-Air Statement

As a lifelong fan of strong, intelligent women who break barriers and shatter glass ceilings, I can’t help but admire Kamala Harris. Her journey to becoming the Vice President of the United States is nothing short of inspiring. However, it’s disheartening to see some people like Sunny Hostin make misguided comments about her character.

In a discussion on The View, Whoopi Goldberg stepped in to explain Sunny Hostin’s remarks which seemed to suggest that Vice President Kamala Harris might have issues with men. Their conversation revolved around Harris’s upcoming encounter with Fox News’s Bret Baier and possible appearance on Joe Rogan’s podcast.

As a dedicated follower, I applauded Harris for running an effective campaign, noting that Joe Rogan’s audience is predominantly male. This observation led her to express concern that some men might not vote for her in the upcoming presidential election due to perceived issues with them. She phrased it this way: “Reflecting on Joe Rogan, who hosts the most popular podcast in the nation, one can’t help but wonder, well, it’s mostly men.

She went on to say, “[Harris] encounters issues with male voters. Plenty of males choose not to support her.

Immediately after Hostin concluded her point, Goldberg intervened to clarify it. She emphasized that Kamala Harris isn’t the one with issues related to men, but rather some men might have problems with her. Goldberg swiftly added, “She doesn’t have a problem with men; they have a problem with her.

Graciously acknowledging Goldberg’s corrections, Hostin thanked her for clarifying that Harris doesn’t hold an anti-men stance. Subsequently, she elaborated on the opportunity Harris has to appeal to Rogan’s audience, many of whom are either Republicans or undecided, which could potentially boost her vote count.

Although it’s worth mentioning that while roughly half of Rogan’s fanbase identifies as Republican, many of them didn’t vote for Donald Trump in the 2020 elections. She went on to say, “There is an opportunity for Kamala; there is an opportunity for Democrats to connect with the 48% of male listeners who didn’t favor that particular candidate.” She suggested that Harris could potentially resonate with a large segment of her podcast’s audience, which includes a significant number of Hispanics.

Currently, Sara Haines pointed out that elections are based on numerical results. She emphasized the importance of allowing Harris to express her personal narrative freely, without any intervention from others. The talk show “The View,” hosted by Whoopi Goldberg, Sunny Hostin, and Hines, airs weekdays on ABC.
