On July 12, when Eminem unveiled his album The Death of Slim Shady, he sparked quite a buzz by taking aim at some well-known figures through his lyrics. None less than Amber Heard, the Aquaman star, found herself in his crosshairs. In the song Lucifer, he playfully poked fun at her and referenced her high-profile trial with Depp, even nodding to a meme-worthy instance that had captured everyone’s attention.
In the court case about defamation, it was revealed that an embarrassing event occurred involving the actress soiling Johnny Depp’s bed. Eminem, the renowned rapper, made a reference to this incident in one of his lyrics.
“My sh*t is like taking Deborah Mathers at her word / Yeah, I’m that absurd, we had a spat.”
In my own words, I’d rephrase it as follows: “Later on, we resolved the issue amicably, or so vastly that it seemed more like a colossal truce rather than a simple disagreement.
In his album, Eminem also took aim at other famous figures such as Kanye West, the now-controversial rapper Sean “Puffy” Combs, and Lizzo.

Eminem didn’t just target Mariah Carey in his album; he also made fun of Kanye West, the embattled rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs, and Lizzo as well.

In one of his songs, Eminem wrote, “The brain’s gone, it seems, akin to when Ye overlooks his medication,” subtly referencing Kanye.
In the song “Antichrist,” the artist famously known as the Mockingbird made a subtle criticism towards Sean Combs (Diddy), following the widespread distribution of security camera videos showing him physically assaulting his then-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura.
