‘We Really Did Get Along’: Friends Fame Lisa Kudrow Reveals To Have Put In ‘Work’ While Making Bonds With Her Co-Stars On Hit Sitcom

As an ardent fan of Friends and someone who has grown up watching the show, I can’t help but feel a sense of admiration for Lisa Kudrow and her co-stars. Listening to her podcast interview, I was struck by how they nurtured their friendships off-screen just as beautifully as their on-screen characters did. Their six-way relationship was built on the foundation of respectful communication, something that seems like a rare gem in today’s world.

On Dax Shepard’s Armchair Expert podcast, Lisa Kudrow reminisced about her days on the set of Friends, her iconic sitcom. During the conversation, she discussed how she continues to foster friendships with her six co-stars, despite two decades having passed since the show concluded.

Kudrow asserted that the situation involved six people, demanding individual effort from each participant.

During their chat with the podcast host, the actress from No Good Deed clarified that they often gathered for in-depth discussions to sort out matters. When questioned by Shepard about the effort behind their camaraderie, Kudrow simply put it as “having heartfelt conversations”.

She also mentioned, “If someone spoke or acted in a way, it didn’t escalate because they would ask, ‘Can we have a chat?’ Typically, it wasn’t me, as I had to learn how to initiate such conversations myself. I was unaware that it was acceptable. However, I observed it being done gracefully by Courteney Cox, Jennifer Aniston, and Matt LeBlanc.

Simultaneously, the popular NBC sitcom Friends concluded in 2004 following a prosperous decade on air. What endeared viewers to the characters wasn’t just their off-screen connections, but also their knack for tackling issues and predicaments effectively.

Frequently, Monica (played by Courteney Cox) and Rachel (portrayed by Jennifer Aniston) would have disagreements about different matters in their episodes, yet they consistently found ways to resolve their differences without compromising their mutual respect.

As their chat continued, Kudrow expressed her belief that a strong friendship is founded upon the pillars of “considerate dialogue.

On multiple instances, the actors have underscored their strong connection, as evident by their frequent social gatherings and shared birthday wishes on social networks for each other.

At the funeral held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Los Angeles, the five co-stars of Kudrow from Friends came together once more, as they had previously done so at the memorial service for Matthew Perry.
