We Can Predict The Title of ‘Spider-Man 4’ Based on A Heartbreaking Storyline It Could Continue

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of comic book-inspired gaming under my belt, I find this theory to be as captivating as the latest Spider-Man swing through New York City. The idea that “Brand New Day” could be the title for Spider-Man 4 has me all aflutter with excitement.

As a devoted fan, I’m thrilled to share that the long-awaited Spider-Man 4 has been officially confirmed last year. However, the specifics about this movie are yet to be fully unveiled. What we do have is the exciting news that Tom Holland and Zendaya will once again grace our screens as their iconic characters. Additionally, Destin Daniel Cretton has been entrusted with the director’s chair for this highly anticipated sequel.

Lately, Ryan Meinerding has shared that the next Spider-Man series will kick off a second trilogy. Additionally, he verified that the prior trilogy was titled “Home,” a name symbolizing the consistent motif running through each of its movies.

Lately, CBR has shared a captivating idea that appears quite logical. This idea proposes a possibility that the title of the upcoming sequel might have already been revealed, hinted at by the comic storyline that served as inspiration for Spider-Man: No Way Home.

In case you remember, the movie “No Way Home” shows Peter Parker employing Doctor Strange’s enchantment to wipe out nearly everyone’s memories, including his love interest MJ. This aspect of the plot is somewhat reminiscent of the “Spider-Man: One More Day” comic book series authored by J. Michael Straczynski and illustrated by Joe Quesada.

In this narrative, Aunt May finds herself critically wounded and close to death. Peter, in his desperate attempt to save her, reaches out to numerous sources, even those with superhuman abilities. Yet, it appears that none of them are capable of rescuing her from this dire situation.

Overwhelmed by need, Peter seeks aid from Mephisto. In return, the fiend promises to help, but insists on a precious sacrifice from Peter. As Peter ponders, he comes to value above all else his union with Mary Jane Watson.

According to Mephisto’s agreement, their union as husband and wife between Peter and Mary Jane is eliminated, taking away all the recollections of their wedded life. In essence, this rewrites history, making it seem like they never got married and lived as a couple in the first place.

Initially resistant to the agreement, Peter later realizes that Aunt May’s welfare outweighs his personal joy and marital life with MJ. In the end, they both agree to the deal, with MJ incorporating some confidential conditions of her own.

To put it simply, does this connect to the forthcoming “Spider-Man 4”? As CBR mentioned, there’s a sequel called “Brand New Day” that follows “One More Day.” This storyline essentially resets Peter Parker’s life, placing him in a new situation where he is single and has to face the repercussions of his actions after the events of “One More Day.

It’s clear that Spider-Man 4 is expected to draw heavily from this storyline. With Peter Parker finding himself alone in the MCU, he has the opportunity to shape his life as he sees fit. This turn of events is simultaneously sad and thrilling, mirroring the emotions experienced in the comics.

As a fan, I’d say it’s intriguing that in “Brand New Day,” Peter is oblivious to his past losses, unlike in the MCU where he’s fully aware of them. This aspect makes “Brand New Day” a fitting title for the fourth film because it could provide an opportunity for the MCU to move beyond the “Home” theme and venture into uncharted territories, offering a fresh perspective.
