Warner Bros. has released a first sneak peek for the upcoming movie adaptation of Emily Brontë’s timeless novel “Wuthering Heights.” In the lead roles, we find Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi, while Emerald Fennell, known for directing shows like “Saltburn” and “Promising Young Woman,” takes charge as director.
The brief, 90-second preview highlights the intense, secretive, and passionate love affair between Robbie as Catherine and Elordi as Heathcliff. In addition, Edgar, portrayed by Shazad Latif, appears to be a formidable adversary for Heathcliff. The song “Everything is romantic” by Charli XCX and Caroline Polachek plays subtly in the background, intensifying the suspenseful atmosphere created by the swift scene transitions.
Alongside Robbie, Elordi, and Latif in the star-studded cast are Hong Chau, Alison Oliver, Martin Clunes, and Ewan Mitchell. Producing alongside Fennell and Robbie is Josey McNamara. Anthony Willis will compose the film’s music, while Charli XCX will produce original tunes for it.
Watch the teaser above. Wuthering Heights hits theaters February 13, 2026.
