Watch: Marvel Drops Thunderbolts Trailer During Super Bowl; Sebastian Stan and Florence Pugh make SURPRISE return

On Sunday, the excitement for the Super Bowl couldn’t have been heightened further as Marvel unveiled the trailer for their much-awaited production, Thunderbolts*. During the game, viewers were treated to a sneak peek of what lies ahead in this upcoming venture.

Stepping into the role of a lifestyle guide, let me share some intriguing insights from the latest trailer I’ve been watching. In this production, Julia Louis Dreyfus portrays Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, a powerful figure holding the position of CIA director. She voices a concern, expressing that the Avengers won’t be around to safeguard our nation. As she poses the question, “Who will ensure the security of the American people?”, it certainly sparks curiosity and anticipation for what’s to come next!

Additionally, we observe the disorganized and chaotic team, providing glimpses into their disorder, as well as some humorous scenes. The preview presents an uplifting yet slightly emotional scene where Yelena Belova struggles with imposter syndrome, followed by a motivational talk from her teammate.

Yelena says, “We can’t do this. No one here is a hero.” Then the Red Guardian tells her, “Yelena, when I look at you, I don’t see your mistakes. That’s why we need each other.”)

At some point during the preview, it seems like Bucky removes his robotic hand from what looks like a dishwasher. The trailer subsequently showcases significant events like destruction and team members performing thrilling stunts, providing a glimpse of the exciting elements that will be featured in the movie.

In this film, Sebastian Stan takes on the role of Bucky Barnes, also known as Winter Soldier; Florence Pugh acts as Yelena; David Harbor plays Red Guardian; Hannah John-Kamen is cast as Ava Starr/Ghost; Olga Kurylenko portrays Antonia Dreykov, known as Taskmaster; Wyatt Russell assumes the character of John Walker/U.S. Agent; and Lewis Pullman appears as Robert Reynolds.

The audience will get to watch the highly anticipated venture in theaters on May 2, 2025.

In addition to the current blockbuster, Marvel has plans to premiere two other films: “Captain America: A New World” on Valentine’s Day, 2025, and “The Fantastic Four: Initial Footsteps” on July 25, 2025.
