Kim Kardashian recently discovered something unexpected about her brain health. During a new episode of her show, The Kardashians, she learned that a portion of her brain showed lower-than-usual activity. The episode, which aired on Hulu on November 27th, featured Kim and Scott Disick visiting Dr. Daniel Amen for a brain scan to assess their overall brain function.
On the show, Kim shared that Dr. Amen is famous for using brain imaging technology, and he had already scanned her sisters Khloé and Kendall in a previous season. Before seeing her own results, Kim playfully said, “I have a beautiful brain.”
Dr. Amen started with good news: Kim’s brain scan didn’t indicate a high risk of Alzheimer’s disease, and she didn’t seem to be dealing with significant stress or anxiety. He even told her, “You are extraordinary in being so positive.”

The doctor also noticed something surprising in the scan results. He described certain areas as looking like “holes,” which indicated reduced activity in her frontal lobe – the part of the brain that helps manage stress. He explained that this lower activity level could make the already challenging process of preparing for the California bar exam even more difficult.
Kim couldn’t hide her disbelief, responding, “That just can’t be… not accepting.”
Dr. Amen believes Kim’s brain scan results might be connected to the significant stress she’s been experiencing. She’s been preparing for the bar exam while also navigating the emotional challenges of her divorce from Ye. After the doctor’s explanation, Kim stated she intends to proactively manage her stress, saying, “I need to create a plan to address this.”
Kim recently shared a health update, revealing that a scan days earlier showed a brain aneurysm she’s had for years. Following this discovery, she consulted with surgeon Keith Black for more tests. Doctors also advised her that stress could potentially worsen the condition.
