On the bustling set of The Devil Wears Prada 2 in New York City, Anne Hathaway stepped in to soothe tensions, demonstrating yet again the grace and proficiency that endears her to her fans.
During the shoot of a scene, a 41-year-old actress observed a heated dispute amongst photographers (paparazzi) close to where she was working, as suggested in an Instagram post shared by People. According to the video, Hathaway reportedly spoke directly to the group, maintaining a calm and polite demeanor.
She emphasized the need for everyone to calm down, reminding them that there are kids on set today. She wanted everyone to understand this and relax accordingly to ensure a pleasant day. The presence of children necessitated this calm environment, she added, thanking everyone before resuming filming with a smile.

In my enthusiasm, I couldn’t help but join the chorus of admirers praising her online. One user, like me, couldn’t resist reminding her of her iconic character, Amelia Mignonette Thermopolis Renaldi, the beloved Princess of Genovia, a role she brought to life so beautifully in The Princess Diaries.
One person expressed, “‘I adore Anne!!’ When people tell you to use your ‘indoor voice,’ this is exactly what they’re referring to!” Another added, “‘That’s not an argument, it’s just being a fellow human and reminding others of their own humanity.’
On several occasions during filming, Hathaway has caught the spotlight. Recently, during the shooting of a staircase scene, she had a minor fall, but managed to keep hold of her bagel and reassured those around with a cheerful “I’m fine!” before swiftly getting back to work.
Footage of the event spread across the internet, causing laughter and respect from followers due to her calm demeanor.
Here Comes the Sequel to “The Devil Wears Prada”! This upcoming comedy-drama is once again in the capable hands of director David Frankel and writer Aline Brosh McKenna. It picks up where the 2006 film left off, drawing inspiration from Lauren Weisberger’s novel, The Devil Returns Prada: A Vengeance Tale.
In this movie, familiar faces like Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, Stanley Tucci, Tracie Thoms, and Tibor Feldman return to play their characters once more. Additionally, some fresh talent is brought on board to add depth to the narrative.
The upcoming movie will hit theaters in the U.S. and Canada on May 1st, 2026. Enthusiasts can’t wait for the next installment, with many expressing joy at Hathaway reprising her role as Andrea Sachs.
In her latest stint on the film set, she’s been managing encounters with photographers with ease and bouncing back charmingly from a tumble – all of which serve to further establish her as not just a seasoned pro in Hollywood, but also as a real-life star that fans can connect with.
