D’Onofrio’s comments offer fans encouragement. He emphasized the significance of viewer engagement, suggesting that the show’s longevity hinges on the success of Season 2. If viewers keep tuning in and express enthusiasm, additional episodes may be forthcoming.
Regarding Kingpin’s personal history beyond the Daredevil: Born Again storyline, that’s still shrouded in mystery. Recently, when asked about potential future roles in films, D’Onofrio himself admitted that he is unsure, but hinted at it being a complex matter.
The actor declared, “I’m completely clueless about films. No one seems to discuss movies with me. It’s always entangled in rights issues.
During the interview, he addressed the issue once again:
I’m hoping we can sort things out regarding rights with Sony soon. I believe a resolution is inevitable, even though I’m unsure of the timeline or the process they’re using. Regardless, I can’t fathom that they won’t find a solution eventually. We’ll just have to wait and see.
For now, we won’t be seeing Wilson Fisk on the big screen any time soon. However, if Marvel Studios manages to sort out the current legal matters regarding his rights, that could change.
