After “Fast X” came out, Vin Diesel mentioned the studio was thinking about making two more films, but that depended on how well the movie did. Then, rumors started that the next main movie might be the last one. The plans kept shifting, and the release date was pushed back several times. Vin Diesel recently announced that the problems with the film series have been worked out. He says production is back on track, and the next movie will go back to the basics – focusing on street racing.
