You won’t believe what happened at Rod Stewart‘s concert in Athens! I was reading about it, and apparently, he actually stopped singing mid-song to give a fan a piece of his mind. It was a pretty unexpected moment, to say the least!
The 80-year-old singer got annoyed during his performance of “Do Ya Think I’m Sexy?” when a fan in the audience held up a sign. He played 25 songs during the set, including his popular hits like “Maggie May,” “You Wear It Well,” and “Hot Legs.”
Stewart pointed towards the front of the stage and yelled into the microphone, “Get out of the way! You’re ruining the show for everyone. Just leave, we don’t need you here!” He then said, “She’s just holding up a sign. It’s not bothering you, is it?” After dealing with the fan, he turned back to his band and said, “Okay, let’s start again from where we stopped.”

A video of the incident went viral on TikTok, and many viewers wondered if Rod Stewart was still frustrated about Celtic losing their game earlier that day. Celtic had been defeated 3-1 in the Premier Sports Cup at Hampden Park, which was a disappointing result for the lifelong fan and added to a difficult season for his team.
Okay, let me tell you, seeing Rod Stewart at 80 is something else. The man still has incredible energy! Now, about that little onstage moment… some folks were surprised, sure, but honestly, it just proved to me how much he cares about putting on a great show and connecting with the crowd. It wasn’t about ego, it was about passion – he really wants to deliver for his fans.
