2024’s Venice Film Festival kicks off with Tim Burton’s comedy horror movie, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, on August 28th. The closing film of the festival, Pupi Avati’s Italian movie titled The American Backyard, will be screened on September 7th.
The celebration is taking place on the Venice Lido, often referred to as Venice’s beach, which is a long, slender island reachable only by water from the Venetian Lagoon.
This year’s awards season kicks off at the Venice Film Festival, a notable event that often showcases films vying for the Oscars.
