‘Utterly Tone Deaf’: Meghan McCain Criticizes Meghan Markle’s Netflix Series; Says This Is Why ‘World’ Doesn’t Like Her

As a lifestyle expert with years of experience in the industry, I find myself often torn between admiration for those who use their platform to inspire and educate, and disappointment when they seem oblivious to the world’s struggles. Meghan Markle’s Netflix series, “With Love, Meghan,” initially seemed like a refreshing take on lifestyle programming, but upon closer examination, it appears utterly tone-deaf.

Having lived through two terror attacks in the last fortnight, witnessed wars raging across the globe, and seen countless families struggling to put food on the table, I find it disheartening that someone with Markle’s global influence seems so out of touch. In today’s world, we need more substance, not just style.

Don’t get me wrong; I appreciate her ambition and entrepreneurial spirit. However, when the world is grappling with such significant challenges, it would be wonderful if Markle could use her platform for a higher purpose – to help people rather than boosting her ego. This is why, in my humble opinion, the world doesn’t seem to warm up to her as much as she might like.

In light of these sentiments, I can’t help but wonder if Meghan Markle has forgotten that “with great power comes great responsibility.” As someone who once graced the halls of Buckingham Palace, perhaps she could have taken a cue from the royal family’s tradition of service and used her newfound freedom to make a real difference in people’s lives.

In closing, I can’t help but joke that if Meghan Markle really wants to win over the hearts of the world, maybe she should consider swapping gardening tips for diplomacy lessons – because sometimes, it takes more than a green thumb to make the world a better place!

Meghan McCain criticized Meghan Markle’s Netflix show titled “With Love, Meghan” for being insensitive or out of touch with reality. This lifestyle series combines practical tutorials on cooking, gardening, and homemaking with intimate chats with famous personalities such as Mindy Kaling, Roy Choi, Prince Harry, and others who were special guests in the first season.

As a supporter of Meghan Markle, also known as the Duchess of Sussex, McCain initially found the idea for the show intriguing, modern, and invigorating. However, similar to many others globally, her positive view shifted when Markle showed disregard towards the royal family.

In a post on their Twitter account (previously known as Twitter), the blogger asserted that the Duchess may wish to renounce her British aristocracy status and return to being an American. They suggested that the clips are genuine, unfiltered, and unedited. However, they also pointed out that even in the trailer, the content is carefully selected, prepared, and disconnected from reality.

In these challenging and unpredictable circumstances, with two terrorist incidents occurring within the past two days, ongoing conflicts, and rising financial difficulties that make it difficult for many Americans to afford basic necessities like food, it would be prudent for Markle to exhibit sensitivity.

McCain asserted that the ex-monarch ought to have taken actions aimed at benefiting society and individuals rather than feeding their ego. Essentially, she suggested that such behavior is why people dislike them, not for any other reason. The blogger commented, “Completely out of touch with what’s happening right now.

Since Markle and Prince Harry chose to step away from their roles as active royals and relocated to America, she has embarked on various business endeavors, one of which is a new series. She unveiled a sneak peek of the show on her Instagram and expressed her enthusiasm by saying, “I can’t wait for you all to see it! I truly enjoyed creating this program.

She also expressed her hopes for a joyful new year to everyone, and extended her gratitude to her fantastic team, both crew members and those at Netflix, for their assistance and input. According to the official description of the series produced by the Duchess, it revamps the format of lifestyle programming, combining useful tutorials and open discussions with friends, all while keeping a genuine tone.

With Love, Meghan will be released on Netflix on January 15, 2025.
