Usher Kick Starts His Long-Awaited Past Present Future Tour With Its First Stop In Washington, D.C

As a die-hard Usher fan who has followed his career since the days of “My Way” and “Nice & Slow,” I can confidently say that this Past Present Future tour is a testament to his timeless talent and resilience. After the heartbreaking delay due to his neck injury, it was worth the wait to witness him deliver a two-hour set filled with hits like “Lovers and Friends,” “U Don’t Have To Call,” and the iconic “Yeah!” in Washington, DC.

Usher finally kicked off his music tour, which was long-awaited by his die-hard followers. It is called the Past Present Future tour, and fans have been waiting for it for a long time, as previously the concert got delayed after the singer suffered a neck injury. However, now that everything seems fine to perform, Usher took to the stage in Washington, DC.

The Yeah! singer dazzled everyone as he delivered a mind-blowing set on August 20 and August 21.

On the stage in Washington, D.C., the eight-time Grammy award recipient captivated the audience for a full two hours with his performance. Among the hits he played were fan favorites like Lovers and Friends, U Don’t Have To Call, Confessions, and of course, Yeah!

Beyond those songs, it was also the performances of Usher’s latest album, Coming Home, that left an impact on the audience attending the live show.

On the opening day of the concert, everything was simply outstanding; however, the August 21st performance by the singer stood out as truly unforgettable. Usher had brought along some remarkably gifted artists, who coincidentally hailed from Washington D.C.

In this group were artists such as Raheem DeVaughn, Wale, and E.U.’s Sugar Bear. DeVaughn sang “You,” while Wale showcased a set that included “The Matrimony” and “No Hands.” Moving on to Sugar Bear, he performed “Da’ Butt.”

Coming soon, you can catch Usher performing in Baltimore on August 23rd and 24th. The show will be held at the CFG Bank Arena. His North American tour will wrap up in Atlanta in December with a series of three-night shows, followed by his European leg starting on March 29th at London’s The O2 Arena.

Next, the performer behind U Got It Bad will embark on a journey that takes him to Paris, Amsterdam, and Berlin, before making a return trip to London. His tour will conclude in the city during the month of May.

Earlier this month, it became known that he had to delay his initial three performances due to a neck injury sustained during rehearsals.
