In simple terms, Yandere Dark Elf is modeled after Nakanosora’s manga with the same title and narrates the tale of Hinata Sunohara, a high school student who gets whisked away to another realm. He emerges as a hero, vanquishes the Demon Lord, and subsequently returns to his ordinary existence. Yet, his tranquility doesn’t last long as those he left behind in the other world come chasing after him.

A month passes, and all of a sudden, Mariabelle – a dark elf from his party – shows up unexpectedly at Hinata’s apartment, eager to marry him, recalling a vague promise he made earlier. Sakura Mochida, his classmate, gets entangled in the mess as well. This unique romantic comedy kicks off with a peculiar reverse-isekai living situation featuring an overly affectionate elf who might pose a danger.

 

According to its official site, the first episode of Yandere Dark Elf is named “The Girl I Met in Another World / Mini Anime Theatre Part 1.” The story kicks off with Hinata getting ready to leave the other world after vanquishing the Demon Lord, but his plans are interrupted when Mariabelle screams about a prior marriage vow.

A month has passed, and she enters contemporary life, eagerly pursuing a quick romance with him. The narrative will be divided into two segments: the second part will transform into a Mini Anime Theatre, where Mariabelle and her colleagues can be seen working in an office, broadcasting a radio show, and dealing with a peculiar zombie apocalypse situation – all in a chibi style.
