Unlocking the Mystery: Can Takao Solve the Drowning in a Dry Room Before It’s Too Late?

In the first part of ‘Drowning in a Dry Room,’ character Yu Takanashi is told he might be moved from his position, following suspicions that senior doctor Dr. Seiji Kuwata has committed murder. At first, Takao shows distress and distances himself from Yu, but later decides to delve into the case. Together, they pay a visit to Ryuichiro Kuwata, father of the suspected individual, who discloses that his son Daiki had crashed his birthday celebration.

In a turn of events, Daiki physically assaulted Seiji, ultimately meeting an untimely death in a study that had been securely locked. The cause of his demise appeared to be drowning, yet no water source was discovered nearby. With Seiji unable to provide an alternative explanation for his whereabouts, he became the chief suspect. To conceal the truth, Ryuichiro performed Daiki’s cremation.

In episode 11 of “Ameku Takao’s Detective Karte,” with Seiji on the brink of being apprehended, Takao is under pressure to unravel the mystery behind Daiki’s death before Takanashi’s transfer deadline. As she examines video evidence from the night in question, she will spot some unusual actions by someone who was there.

Approaching the finale, it seems that this storyline could be the last unsolved enigma. Takao is on a mission to expose the facts regarding Daiki’s demise, questioning whether he actually drowned in a sealed chamber. It might not be until Episode 12 when she finally solves the case.
