Unlocking Dr. Holder’s Secret: Your Guide to Atomfall’s Hidden Ending!

There are some suspicious individuals loitering near the containment area of Atomfall. Some of them might propose an exit from this dreadful location, but they’ll all expect something in return for their escape plan. Interestingly, Dr. Holder isn’t an exception to this rule, although his intentions seem somewhat noble as he aims to bring down Oberon definitively.

To obtain Dr. Holder’s conclusion, you’ll need to plunge deep into the heart of The Interchange to retrieve a specimen of Oberon. This guide will lead you to Dr. Holder and provide instructions on executing his scheme to eliminate that malevolent purple meteorite.

How To Find Dr. Holder In Atomfall

As a gamer, I find myself on a quest to locate the key hidden somewhere within St. Katherine’s Church in Wyndham Village. The cellar door is currently locked, and it seems the folks at the church are clueless about the missing key. To retrieve the key, I’ll need to activate The Interchange first, then venture into the Medical department. From there, I should turn right at the Pneumatic Tube in Reception, make another right into a cozy little nook, and voila! There should be the Church Cellar Key sitting next to an audio log.

You have permission now to open the church cellar and step into Dr. Holder’s laboratory. Engage him in conversation, and you will discern from his blue eyes and complexion that he has been contaminated by Oberon. He’ll share details about his research on Oberon and propose to aid your escape. However, prior to this, you must secure something called Sample One. This is a fragment of Oberon essential for Holder, which can be found in the lower level of Medical.

He’ll hand over his keycard to you, allowing you access to the Medical Auditorium where you’ll locate Sample One, positioned beside a decayed body. Bring it to Dr. Holder, and he’ll explain that his objective is to develop a toxin using this sample to eliminate Oberon. He requires time to work on it, providing you with plenty of opportunity to set up The Interchange.

As I traverse through this gaming world, remember there’s a hidden path ahead where I pick up Sample One. That secret passage leads to the underground Medical Tunnels – a place I’ll need to explore later. So, tuck that info away for future reference!

Should You Trust Dr. Holder To Help You Escape?

To distribute Dr. Holder’s potion, you must first navigate to Oberon. To accomplish this, you should employ an Atomic Power Source to energize The Interchange’s Main Control Room. Subsequently, you’ll need to rejuvenate Data Storage Areas A, B, C, and D using Atomic Power Sources. This action will allow you to restart the Main Control Room, paving the way to Oberon.

After handing Dr. Holder Sample One, he will later move to the Central Processing Room. He’ll return with a modified version of Sample One for you, which you should use against Oberon. Now it’s time for you to journey towards the excavation site.

Heading to Oberon means traversing a region teeming with Thralls, Ferals, tainted vegetation, and blue fog that may cause contamination. It’s essential to acquire the recipe for the Strange Tonic before venturing to Oberon if you haven’t done so already, as this concoction is vital for curing infection.

Upon arriving at the Oberon Archaeological Site, your task is to distribute the toxic substance. You can identify Oberon by the large purple meteorite in front of it. Enter the building, be wary of Thralls, and proceed towards the Control Room. After exiting this room to your left, locate the Fire Safety Fluid Input. This will be a device with an opening for you to insert Poisoned Sample One.

To cover Oberon with a harmful substance, you’ll need to manipulate two Fire Safety System Valves next. These valves are identifiable as yellow structures positioned on either side of the Oberon meteorite. This won’t be an easy feat, as you’ll encounter three B.A.R.D. Robots, equipped with flamethrowers, patrolling the area. You can either eliminate them or evade them to get to these valves. Once turned, make your way back to the Control Room. There, you’ll find a lever that initiates the Fire Safety System. Give it a pull, and the harmful substance will be dispersed onto Oberon.

It’s high time for you to dash back towards The Interchange now, given that the entire compound is starting to collapse. Along the way, you’ll encounter a number of agitated druids, among them Mother Jago who appears to be particularly enraged. Upon reaching The Interchange, Dr. Holder has moved to the Medical Tunnels beneath the surface. To get there, venture down into the depths. Keep an eye out for Thralls lurking about; you may need to deal with them or slip past them quietly.

A fissure in the wall, overgrown with contaminated flora, lies ahead. Push your way through it and you’ll encounter Dr. Holder near a doorway. He’ll praise you for eliminating Oberon. He’ll then inform you that it’s crucial for you both to locate a secret hideout, as the authorities may capture you and use you for experiments due to the infection. Following his instructions, you’ll help him unlock the exit, leading you to a long ladder descending into a deep pit.

It remains uncertain if this is indeed an effective break from the quarantine area. Although Oberon was destroyed, it appears that Dr. Holder’s scheme extended only to destroying Oberon. Hence, while Dr. Holder may seem reliable, following his plan might lead to an extended stay in a basement with a peculiar, blue-skinned individual for quite some time.
