In the open world of Monster Hunter Wilds, almost all the materials you gather can be utilized for crafting tools that aid you during battles. These tools can either help you recover in combat or enhance your ability to subdue the monsters you’re pursuing. Although you have the option to concentrate solely on using your preferred weapon, many of the consumables significantly boost your effectiveness, regardless of your chosen play style.
A useful item that gamers might want to carry is the buff-providing powder. Each type of this powder needs to be crafted, and here are some simple ways to farm them for an ample supply.
Where To Farm Godbugs In Monster Hunter Wilds
Godbugs appear whenever you encounter and engage with them, whether it’s by hand, through your Palico, or using your Slinger. Regardless of where you collect Godbugs, they will reappear after about fifteen minutes in the game world, giving you another chance to farm them. Godbugs can be discovered across various areas within the game; here are some optimal spots in each region to maximize your farming efficiency.
Plains
In terms of farming large quantities of basic resources, open plains are ideal. However, when it comes to Godbugs, Area 16 is your best bet. You can find a couple of them on the northern side of the path leading to Area 17, with more being located along the southern wall. As you enter Area 17, you’ll find another one there as well.
Forest
In the forest, there are several excellent spots where you might find a few Godbugs in most areas. However, it is worth noting that Area 16 stands out as the top choice because it boasts five Godbug spawn points within a compact region easily navigable by your Seikret. On the path to Area 16, you’ll encounter Areas 14 and 17, each containing three locations where Godbugs might appear.
Basin
In contrast to the forest, the Basin isn’t really a worthwhile place to spend your farming time. Yet, if you happen to be traversing this area without any intention of leaving, you’ll encounter two Godbugs en route to Area 17 and one in Area 14.
Or, more informally:
The forest is a much better place for farming than the Basin, but if you’re stuck here, keep an eye out for two Godbugs on your way to Area 17 and one in Area 14.
Cliffs
The Cliffs are an excellent spot for harvesting late-game materials, especially for Low-Rank, and they also provide a limited number of areas to farm Godbugs. Specifically, Areas 12 and 5 each have two spots where Godbugs can be found. These spots aren’t too distant from Pop-Up Camp locations, making them convenient places to visit.
