In the game MH Wilds, any form of contact with water, such as from a stream, rain, or the Waterblight status effect caused by water-based creatures like Balahara, Uth Duna, and Mizutsune, will make your character wet. However, Bubbleblight does not qualify as being wet.
For about thirty seconds following departure from a water source, you’ll retain the Bonus Affinity. However, the Affinity granted by Bubbleblight is temporary and persists solely while Bubbleblight remains active.
Is Slicked Blade Worth Using?
Yes, however, do remember that there are several factors to keep in mind. Firstly, the skill called Slicked Blade is only compatible with weapons from Mizutsune, which limits its usage to these specific weapons within the game. Additionally, because Slicked Blade requires precise activation conditions, you’ll definitely want to equip four pieces of the Mizutsune armor set to make the most of this skill.

As a fan, I may not initially consider the “Slicked Blade and Bubbly Dance” combo as top-tier, but it certainly has its merits. Compared to other armor sets and builds, it seems to lag behind, particularly those that can accommodate evasion and critical hit bonuses simultaneously.
