It offers an unexpectedly altruistic task that requires more than just charity.

Engaging in numerous additional missions within KCD2 could yield numerous benefits and unexpected discoveries, with “Feast for the Poor” serving as the first link in a series of quests set in Kuttenberg. Here’s a brief rundown of the essential aspects of this mission.

Starting Feast for the Poor in KCD2

Following your interaction with Chenyek during the ‘Into the Underworld’ mission, you have the opportunity to approach him once more and request a task. His initial assignment for you is ‘Feast for the Poor,’ where you’ll be tasked with pilfering some sausages from Sigismund’s reserves and sharing them with the destitute in Kuttenberg. To initiate this quest, locate Chenyek again within The Hole, a tavern situated on the southeastern side of the city.

Chenyek intends to pose queries that may be unfamiliar to you. Regardless of whether you manage to answer correctly or not, the crucial point is your agreement to consume a beverage with him and join his group afterwards.

Stealing the Sausages and Speaking with Knuckles

Step outside the tavern to encounter Knuckles shouting at you near the crossroads. He proposes an optional task: sneak some wine from Sigismund’s storehouse. If you agree, he’ll provide you with lockpicks, a Weak Quickfinger and a Weak Nighthawk potion as assistance. This guide will also walk you through obtaining the wine at a later time.

In this location, there won’t be any battles, but stealth will be crucial, so consider adjusting your attire for a more suitable disguise. Head southward from The Hole and make your way to the designated quest area, which is a guarded compound with some tents in the middle. You’ll find an entryway hidden at the back of the compound’s walls. Keep an eye out as the guard will occasionally leave this entrance, providing you with opportunities for a covert entry.

Where to Find the Wine and Sausages

Here are the locations of the sausages and wine at the camp: The sausages are tucked away inside a large green tent situated at the eastern end of the campsite, while the wine is kept behind the wagon shed right in the heart of the camp. Keep an eye out as guards will be patrolling the paths leading to these chests. If one happens to obstruct your path, consider tossing a few stones to distract them.

Both the chests are secured with robust locks, making it challenging for anyone without exceptional lock-picking abilities. You would either have to sneakily steal the keys from a guard or render one unconscious to obtain them.

You could swap out the sausages with cabbages in the camp as a fun joke when interacting with Chenyek.

Handing Out the Sausages

After getting hold of the sausages, roam about Kuttenberg and distribute some of them to the homeless individuals you encounter on the streets. You might frequently spot them near churches or city gates. However, you don’t have to share all your sausages; you can give up to five per beggar if you wish.

You have the option to either sell the wine you took or find another buyer for it. Alternatively, you could drink it yourself. However, remember that anything taken from the camp is considered stolen property, so you’ll need to be patient or find a fence to sell it to. If you decide to give it to Knuckles, ask him for compensation, and he’ll pay you 100 Groschen.
