Open-world games sometimes struggle with providing ample content within their expansive landscapes, leaving vast forests, fields, and mountains feeling somewhat barren and void at times. Instead of enhancing the gameplay experience, these empty spaces often underscore the scarcity of content. Contrastingly, Oblivion Remastered is generously stocked with elements to engage its players and maintain a lively sense of discovery throughout the map. Heaven stones serve as one such noteworthy landmark, but they are more significant than initially perceived.
What Are Heaven Stones in Oblivion Remastered?
Heaven Stones, or as you might call them, Doom Stones, are powerful monuments found in Oblivion Remastered. Interacting with these stones grants the player significant abilities. These stones can greatly boost your power, all without requiring excessive time investment, provided you meet the necessary prerequisites.
You’re able to utilize the Heaven Stones only when the night sky is adorned with stars. Attempting to use them at any other time will result in a message saying, “Stars do not illuminate the Doomstone here.
The cool thing is that these Heaven Stones’ powers can be combined, so you don’t have to decide which spells to use – you can collect them all! But remember, there are some conditions. Firstly, only individuals who meet specific reputation requirements (a balance of Fame and Infamy) can access their power. Secondly, each spell gained from these stones can be used just once per day.

Equipping the Gray Cowl of Nocturnal from the Thieves Guild quest will immediately grant you 100 Infamy.
