Unexpectedly, ‘Agatha All Along’ Is on the Brink of Dropping Out of the Top 10 Most Streamed Shows, According to Latest Data

As a devoted fan who has spent countless hours streaming shows from various platforms, I must say that the rollercoaster ride of Agatha All Along has been quite intriguing. The show’s initial surge in viewership and subsequent dip has kept me on my toes, much like how Agatha herself keeps her fellow Avengers guessing!

Approximately two weeks back, the series titled “Agatha All Along” made its debut, airing its initial two episodes. Although critics’ assessments were somewhat varied, audience responses have generally been favorable, and it currently boasts a “fresh” rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Last week, as reported by Variety through Luminate data, the program saw an impressive increase in its audience.

Data spanning from September 20th to 26th showed that Agatha All Along outperformed its original viewing figures and experienced a substantial boost in “viewing time.” Surprisingly, the series managed to stream an impressive 304.7 million minutes in the last week, marking a staggering 321% growth.

Additionally, it became the #1 streamed show on Disney+ in the US market.

Instead, the statistics from September 27 to October 3 present a contrasting narrative. As per the most recent data, the viewership for the show dropped by 33%, with only 204 million minutes being streamed.

The series struggled to maintain its position among the top 10, as it faced stiff competition. The statistics show that “Nobody Wants This” (Netflix) dominated with approximately 1.7 billion views and an extraordinary 1986% surge in viewing time, while “Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story” (Netflix) experienced a decrease of 36%, despite also garnering around 1.7 billion views.

Some standout series are “Mr. McMahon” on Netflix, which experienced a significant 246% surge in viewers, and “Tulsa King” on Paramount+, which saw a 10% jump in audience numbers.

Although the numbers might not appear encouraging, there’s no reason to worry because fewer people than anticipated expected “Agatha All Along” to become a worldwide phenomenon due to its unique themes centered around a lesser-known character.

In a positive development, it was confirmed by Marvel Studios’ executive Brad Winderbaum that our show has the highest number of returning viewers compared to any other Marvel series. This percentage indicates the number of people who came back for more after the first episode aired.

Additionally, he mentioned that this is currently the least expensive production they’ve undertaken, implying that Disney can expect minimal financial setbacks.
