In the first installment of ‘The Night When the Angels Danced,’ Dr. Kumakawa shares with Takao that three patients in room 703 – Sekihara, Sakuta, and Fuyumoto – suddenly took a turn for the worse just prior to being discharged. Additionally, there have been reports of a celestial figure sighted near their room by onlookers.
Mai observes that the boys exhibit bullying behavior, and their actions might be deliberate acts of cruelty. On a different note, Takao goes to room 702, where Miki, an eight-year-old battling terminal leukemia, resides. Previously, she had managed to cure her, but unfortunately, the disease returned, leaving her filled with remorse and leading her to steer clear of him.
Later on, Miki encounters the angel once more, and surprisingly, Fuyumoto experiences a heart attack. In Ameku Takao’s Detective Karte Episode 9, the investigation into the enigma surrounding room 703 and the repeated sightings of the angel will carry on. Given his past mishap, Takao will be depicted grappling with strong emotions as he avoids Miki.
Yet, if a boy from room 703 unexpectedly deteriorates, she’ll find herself compelled to intervene. As the story unfolds, the reason for the angelic visitations and the boys’ health issues will become clear.
