In the initial episode of To Be Hero X, titled ‘Nice,’ we find ourselves following Lin Ling, a young advertising professional, who showcases a promotional video featuring the character Nice. Interestingly, he gets fired for underscoring the idea that everyone has the potential to be a hero. Following his dismissal, Lin Ling observes Nice leaping off a billboard and mysteriously disappearing.
Miss J takes him away, and she informs him that Nice is no longer around, with Lin Ling being chosen as a replacement due to their similar appearance. Utilizing the trust of the public, Lin Ling acquires Nice’s powers. As he adjusts to his new role, he manages to outdo his previous superior on live television. At a later time, he discovers Moon – Nice’s girlfriend – deceased in his private quarters.
In the next thrilling chapter of my journey as Hero X’s follower, I find myself faced with the heart-wrenching aftermath of Moon’s unexpected demise. Though she seemed to bask in the limelight as the nation’s top hero’s girlfriend, there were hidden depths to her life that I was unaware of. As I step into the role of Nice more fully now, I must confront the solemnity of her funeral while maintaining my composure and dodging any unwanted scrutiny.
As a die-hard fan, I can’t help but feel a growing sense of unease as I delve deeper into the life of Moon. Whispers about secrets buried beneath her existence are starting to surface, hinting that her death might not have been entirely natural. The upcoming episode promises to peel back these layers, revealing her hidden struggles and Lin Ling’s relentless pursuit to unravel the enigma surrounding her untimely, mysterious departure from our world.
